Bruce Lee - Mr. Perfection in all aspects of life

Bruce Lee

You can usually see greatness in the eyes of an athletic competitor/Champion. Michael Jordan, Michael Johnson, Tiger Woods, Lance Armstrong, Steve Prefontaine and Muhammad Ali all had that look in their eyes. As apparent at it is that these six have the look in their eyes of a champion, all of them pale in comparison to our first "Perfect Panther Teammate" to showcase - Marital Arts legend Bruce Lee.

You can see in his face that Bruce Lee was committed to Perfection, you could hear in his voice that he was ultimately confident - in anything he did in life. Bruce Lee

Bruce was way ahead of his era in many ways. He diligently researched and studied nutrition and human physiology to the Nth degree! His daily devotion in applying his knowledge gave him an incredible body with perfect abs and amazing "Cobra Lats". Bruce Lee

He was able to develop Lightning fast reflexes beyond human standards, and was able to execute a two finger pushup. Amazingly, he was able to play a serious game of Ping-Pong using nun chucks!!!!! Try that one in your spare time!

Regardless of what others thought, he was able to define his own image of who he really was. One day while playing a major role in a 1960's TV show (he played Kato in The Green Hornet prior to any of his big screen movies), he was disrespectfully approached by someone on the set that treated him like a low class citizen because of his oriental heritage. When he was asked later by someone else if that bothered him, he responded with: "Does that bother me??? If I let it bother me, I wouldn't be Bruce Lee". He refused to let others define who he was or what others wanted him to be. His long term impact was not only in the world of Martial Arts, but on society in general by giving others courage and inspiration to define themselves and their own destiny, in music, in film making, acting, dancing, video games, body building and many athletic fields!

I believe that if Bruce Lee would have been a distance runner back in the early 70's, he quite possibly would have been kicking Prefontaine's butt!

You cannot change the world if you are content with "Average" - the world is changed through commitment to excellence.

We must follow his lead and decide to define our own greatness, pursue perfection with daily passion, building ultimate confidence and rise above the ordinary! Bruce Lee, with those standards, changed not only his life, but he changed the whole world as well.
