Dakota Krecklow

A Good Movie, A Good Meal, A Good Race.

Dakota Krecklow

On Wednesday night, Dakota Krecklow was one of the many Panther XC runners to take advantage of a fun evening watching "A Knight's Tale" while eating a fine meal with the team. On Thursday, he ran a fine race, claiming afterwards that he "was really looking forward to this race." With great anticipation for success, Dakota ran a x minute and y second for a Black course, officially breaking out of his mid-season slump. Dakota's gentle smile form his success is strong evidence that he will be back for the next couple of years as a Panther XC runner, as he has found an athletic home at WHS.

Karina Miller

It must be the Course! (Not the shoes.)

Karina Miller

There must be something magical about the Hockinson Meadows course for Karina Miller. Both times the Panthers set foot on this course for races this year, Karina runs huge PRs! The first time, it was by 2:17 for a Black Course; this time only 2:01. Starting in about 20th place the first kilometer, she paced herself perfectly into her 9th place finish at our league meet. This earned her the first ribbon of her distance racing career. We are quite confident that she has many more awards waiting for her in her running career. BTW, since the NBA is still unsettled, we recommend having amazing Karina highlights on NBATV.
