The dreams of these two training partners, though their countries were thousands of miles apart, brought them together and became best of friends. The only person that beat Galen to the finish line was his partner, who happened to be running on his home soil, with 80,000 of his countrymen rocking the stadium with ear-shattering screams of support. The best of friends became the best two runners in the world!
In recent Panther Distance running history, the dynamic duo principal applied to Sean Eustis and Isaac Stinchfield. In that same year, over half of the top ten runners in Washington's 2A XC had a teammate there as well. Sean and Isaac were two of them. Thousands of miles of running together created greatness in both.
