In the Portland area, we are fortunate to have a reputable dealer with very reasonable prices that has 3 locations scattered across town. AJPM has a quality website with up-to-date prices. Their buy/sell mark-ups are reasonable and they have some great specials from time to time, however, they did increase significantly with price volatility when silver broke $20 in summer 2020. Several in our group have done business with them (both buying and selling) and feel comfortable doing so.

Online dealers like JM Bullion and SD Bullion will charge more (especially for credit card or PayPal payments) but will usually have free shipping for significant orders and occasionally have specials at spot for new customers.
The best deals will usually come off of CraigsList or from working with your personal contacts.
Some formats of silver will warrant higher premiums than others. Here are some general guidelines for buying some of the more common silver coins, rounds and bars:
Note: Silver Maple Leafs, Philharmonics, Kangaroos and Krugerrands and 1 ounce bars will usually be a buck or so higher.
Note: 1921 Morgans will usually bring a two or three bucks less than the Pre-1921 Morgans.
